The website development process:

We build the full range of websites, from simple brochure sites all the way up to complex online portals, e-commerce stores and platforms. Each site is built with a fully-operational content management system (CMS) so you can easily take over the management of the content after the build is completed.

All of our websites are optimised for all devices, resolutions and browsers; and optimised for load speed.

01.

Briefing session

The brief is discussed with the client and any amends agreed based on our past experience. A shortlist of KPIs and their targets are agreed and set, including the time period to achieve.

02.

Research and User Experience (UX)

We carry out behaviour research, customer journey mapping, wireframes, funnel analytics, usability testing, accessibility, design, user testing, user interface design and customer experience sessions.

03.

Design and code

A design wireframe is finalised and our coders (trained in PHP, Javascript, SQL, HTML and Java) will code up the site and decide on the best CMS required, whether it is 3rd party (e.g. WordPress) or our own JCMS.

04.

UX testing

A ‘staging’ site is built first, and a series of design variations are user tested to understand where KPIs can be maximised based on traffic analytics data.

05.

Approval and launch

The final design is checked with the client, domain and hosting are set up, and the staging site is deployed to live. An analytics ‘dashboard’ is set up to monitor the website’s performance and report KPIs to the client on a regular basis.

06.

Continual learning and optimising

The most important part of the process, the ongoing data analysis of the site against KPIs and adjustments tested to improve performance.
