Step change to online traffic and conversion rate across EMEA

A 12 month assignment with Intel Security/McAfee to increase traffic for the McAfee brand across the EMEA region.

A three step process.

CHANNEL EXPANSION

Digital channels SEM, SEO, SMM, Affiliate, Display, Email and ePR were expanded and optimised for conversion performance.

AB & CVT SHOP TESTS

Several shop designs were AB and MVT tested and optimised for conversion rate optimisation (CRO).

OPTIMISATION

An iterative process of optimisation based on testing and detailed analysis of performance results.

The results?

First page ranking, almost doubling of Affiliate revenue, and a doubling of site conversions.

Digital channels

All channels saw an improvement, particularly SEM and Affiliate, which saw a near +100% increase in McAfee revenue. With SEO, a number of terms reached top 5 results including ‘antivirus software’ (check it).

CRO

The conversion rate of the McAfee shop was doubled over 12 months.

Revenue results?

Overall a +60% growth year on year in McAfee EMEA revenue.
