The service is called TakeLegalAdvice.com and can search UK and International law firms, who will respond to your enquiry with how they would approach your case and costs.
You compare the responses and can choose to click to release your details. You can view user ratings, law firm profiles, articles on the relevant areas of the law, etc, etc. The catch? Checked the whole site and there doesn't seem to be one!
The whole service is free, independent, and fully confidential - all the way through lawyers and users are unable to see your details.
Running off a secure SSL server with Verisign certification, it looks to be a handy and stress free way to seek out the best lawyers for the job!
There's also another site the company, Polyview, run. Insidedivorce.com is a full one stop shop information site for couples planning a divorce.
Ranked on the first page of Google, it really does have all you need to know - and includes a 'Services Directory' and forum to discuss your form with others.
Incidentally TakeLegalAdvice.com also has a Forum on the Personal section, and includes a useful panel of legal experts who claim to try and answer all questions posted.
